HP-RC

  • For Railroad Tank Car service
  • Fits the standard threaded or bolted railroad tank car safety vent
  • Ryton* plastic with Fluoropolymer ®linings as options
  • Same rupture pressure in both directions...can be installed in either direction.



HCL-RC

  • Designed primarily for rubber-lined tank cars used in Hydrochloric Acid Service
  • Has a 4.75" O.D.
  • Standard material construction is Ryton* with Fluoropolymer linings, and 1/32" Fluoropolymer gaskets secured to both sides
  • Damage resistant
  • Resistant to premature rupture during coupling and switching
  • Bi-directional and can be installed easily

CRC

  • Composite Rail Car Disk
  • Has a 3.125" outside diameter
  • Fits the standard threaded or bolted railroad tank car safety vent
  • Consists of 316 Stainless Steel ring, Inconel 600 slotted top section, a Fluoropolymer seal, a 316 Stainless Steel Vacuum Support and a Fluoropolymer gasket
  • Ring is on the atmospheric side of the rupture disk and helps protect and center the disk during installation
  • Vacuum support protects seal should vacuum occur during the unloading or while the car is in transit
  • Optional Oseco insect screen installs on process side of rupture disk; limits access to the contents of the rail car after rupturing has occured

ICD

  • FAS disk
  • Used for the protection of intermodal containers
  • Designed as a non-fragmenting rupture disk
  • Score lines on convex side of disk, away from the process
  • No vacuum support required
  • Good in gas or liquid applications
  • Standard materials: Nickel disk, Stainless Steel rings, Fluoropolymer gaskets, and a Fluoropolymer liner on the process side of the rupture disk
